Pacman World-Make Sure You Own It This game is so great! All of the mazes and levels are so fun! you could play them over and over again. The graphics are great and you can see where you are going. The thing I most love about this game is that they have the old classic version which is fun and really great. I strongly recommend this game for anybody. You too mom's and dad's. By: 2 gamers 9 and 12 pacman
My daughter loved this, found it challenging and fun. Her cousin loved it, too. free games online I grew up playing Pacman, so when I found out they had a 20th anniversary edition, I had to get it. Not only does it have the original game which I like, it has a little "Super Marioesque" quest that Pacman follows to save his Pac-family. It also has different 3D pacman boards which are also fun to play. Fun for the kids. | | Thursday, December 8th, 2011 | | 5:00 am |
You Will Need To Buy It-Pacman Arcade Enjoy head-to-head family video game competition at home with this cocktail table version of the classic arcade games Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. With its full commercial cabinet, you'll be able to relive the glory days of your youth spent at the game arcade in the 1980s as well as introduce your children to the fun, fast-paced action of these two timeless video games. With Ms. Pac-Man, you'll your way through the classic Pac Man mazes while trying to dodge the ghosts (Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Sue). And in Galaga, you can blast away at evil hordes of insect-like aliens from your fighter spaceship. Game-play is identical to the original versions, and the games work without coins. The cabinet features a 19-inch color standard resolution monitor and authentic arcade joysticks. The table measures 37 x 27.5 x 30 inches (WxLxH).
I loved this game collection, and there are twelve in all. This has a great joystick, though it made my hand tired. The games are all awesome, and fun. It's great for parties and for kids. I do have one complaint, though. It's very close to the logic of Pacman, but it has different logic than the arcade version of Pacman. In the arcade, the orange ghost follows random patterns that are close to you but isn't chasing you directly, but in this version, the orange ghost chases you directly. It does visually resemble Pacman exactly, but the ghost's logic is off. If you're just playing for fun or getting this for your grandkids, nobody will notice. But if you're trying to beat some world records on Pacman, then this product will probably throw your game off. All of the games are: *Pacman *Galaga *Galaxian *Dig Dug *Pole Position *Super Pac-Man *Pac-Man Plus *Pac & Pal *Xevious *Bosconian *New Rally X *Mappy Pros: +All of the games appear to be a faithfully cloned, except Pacman +Has a lot of old 80s games +Lots of Pac-games +Good, solid hardware Cons: -Isn't a true clone of the regular Pacman artificial intelligence -There is only one audio out, so you either need a splitter, or sound will only play from only one side of your television pacman I thought it was a great product. Easily plugs in to any tv (tube or flat screen), is very portable, has the original arcade version of a bunch of games and the joystick control is easy to use and durable. Excellent! online games This was intended as a present to my girlfriend because we used to play on a pac man arcade at a bar when we started hanging out. The box is full of color and the images from gameplay displayed on the box are colored too...which would make you think that the thing has colors too....well, it is black and white, all the games that are included are black and white too. Intentionally mis-advertised and a total disappointment. Please don't buy unless you want a black and white, cheap plastic box. | | Wednesday, December 7th, 2011 | | 4:55 am |

I bought this product two weeks ago. The package came brand new in original packaging. The device itself is strongly built. Joystick and buttons are firm and responsive. It seems as though it's going to be able to take a lot of punishment. The video looks great on LCD TV. Images are clean and movement on screen is fluid. I read that there were lag issues in earlier reviews, however, I can say that I experienced no noticeable lag issues when playing. The sound is what you expect. All familiar tones. There are no surprises with the gameplay. You won't be getting anything new here. The game is still fun. Love competing for the high score. The game saves high scores. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase and am having lots of fun with it. This is a really fun game and I am so glad to have found it! Thanks a lot. Look at PacMan - Owning The Game absolutely free PacMan elegantly combines simplicity and addictiveness for one memorable game experience. Even now, hardcore players worldwide spend untold hours competing for lofty scores. This game has appeared on nearly every game console over the years, to mixed reviews. Right now we should learn something about Paul Neave's flash version of the game. Why would you even look at this review if you are not one who has ever played PacMan? Since it is very apparent that you don't do gaming yourself. That would mean you're an alien, so how would you have even been able to negotiate the internet? However, a short account about the game might be helpful. While playing PacMan, you play as PacMan. You might wonder, what is PacMan? play pacman After more than 20 years, the consensus is that he is a type of supernatural cheese man addicted to yellow M&Ms, fearful of colors other than blue who is trapped, for whatever reasons, in a maze with rainbow-colored ghosts. You must navigate the maze while you consume little dots, run from ghosts and eat big dots that turn ghosts blue and make them edible. Once in a while you will be treated to bonus points that are in the shape of candies or fruits. Once all the dots have been eaten, a new stage will begin. This game can take even the best players days to beat. Whether due to the limitations of the hardware, programming, or the developer's decisions, most ports of the Pac-Man arcade game follow the same basic game-play features of the original, though there can be slight differences. Although this version's differences aren't quite as noticeable as those of other versions, they are there. There were two big complaints I had against this one. The first indicator shows the speed that PacMan moves at. Although the game still plays correctly, I was thrown off by the change in the tempo from the arcade game. The problem of the AI on the ghost was the second, as it did not work as it should have. On more than one occasion I saw them simply bumping against walls for several moments instead of pursuing me. They got back to it fairly quickly when they figured out what they were supposed to do but this little glitch really bugged me. PacMan has never been one of my favorite games, however it can be entertaining to play for a short amount of time and more so when it's free. Fond memories of feeding the arcade machines with quarters down by the beach is revived whilst playing the PacMan games. Nowadays, arcades are nearly extinct. Final Analysis In the end, the port we've been discussing runs a pretty close second to the original. This will allow you to experience PacMan without spending money since it's as near the arcade version as you'll find. It's nothing outstanding, but it fills a niche. | | Sunday, December 4th, 2011 | | 7:00 am |
5 PacMan details that may possibly stun you. Pac-man has found much popularity as an everyday game character, being over thirty years present in the landscape of popular culture. In addition to having appeared on pretty much every gaming platform ever released, he has also graced cereal boxes and been a Saturday morning cartoon star. There used to be other companies in the business besides Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. pacman As well is included basically all cellular phones with screens, systems portable which have been dead a long time, and apparatuses for the television which include plug play. This little pellet-muncher has created an empire that was instrumental in allowing Namco-Bandai to survive an economic hit. Even the most recognizable icons, after all, have their secrets. At the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this week, Toru Iwatani, the game's creator, gave a postmortem on the biggest franchise of the industry and regaled fans with tales. The idea of the game was to bring in young ladies. The latter part of the 70s gaming was all male. Yet now there are some females. Iwatani said that he wanted to create something that would appeal to women and familes. When you play the game it may seem four ghosts are chasing you actively and each ghost have specific orders. This is not strictly true. Programming them with that purpose was intentionally avoided by Iwatani as it would have resulted in PacMan zipping about the screen with the four ghost in tow. Rather, it's just the red ghost, Blinky, that will pursue you relentlessly over the course of the game. Pinky the pink ghost just wants to put itself at 32 pixels before Pac-Man's mouth. Inky, the blue ghost, always tries to position itself to a similar fixed spot. The ghost who is colored orange, Clyde, can move about quite randomly. But since pac-man is moving all the time, the ghosts also move and change direction all the time in order to succeed, and that makes the game more challenging. Just what is Pac-Man actually? You may know that a pizza with a missing slice was the inspiration for the design of Pac-Man. However, this game was created to revolve around the theme of food. The name of the game actually reflected this motif. In Japan, the saying "puck puck," would be the American equivalent of saying "munch munch." That means that the name was originally Puck-Man, actually meaning Munch-Man. To discourage vandals from shaving off part of the P to create an obscene word, a savvy Midway Games official changed it to Pac-Man when the game hit the USA. The missing piece In order to attract a wider audience, Pac-Man was designed to be a very simple game. This was easier to achieve with the technological limitations of 1980. The designer says it all worked out, but at the time, he wasn't so sure. Although it's difficult to imagine Pac-Man without the brightly colored ghosts, the developer, Iwatani, says he was pressured to change that. Namco's president instructed him to make a ghosts a single color - red, to be precise - because she thought that players would believe that some ghosts were Pac-Man's ally. Iwatani denied the order and instead, asked game testers whether they would prefer a single colored ghost or four via questionnaires. Mono-color choice was not welcomed by any. Ultimately, the president was convinced that she was wrong. | | 2:55 am |
An Investigation Into your Well Dearly loved Game of PacMan The lives we live are like video games. Although you may be very good at the game, eventually your character will die. Correct, don't you think? This is possible but uncertain. If one were to ask Billy Mitchell, he may not be in agreement. Why is this? As of 1999, he will go down in the annals of human history. He was known as the man who completed the first perfect PacMan game with an all-time high score of 3,333,360 points. Not a single PacMan life was lost as he conquered 256 boards or mazes for six hours. He could have kept going, if the creators had made a 257th board! Mr. Mitchell brought a lot of attention to these games early on. pacman This is not even counting his video game skills! The fact is that the PacMan series has claimed a brand for itself in its 20 years of existence. Isn't it amazing that such a simple game would end up gaining the enormous following that it did? The original PacMan game debuted in Japan on May 22, 1980, released by Namco, now known as Namco Bandai. A slice of pizza inspired the creation of PacMan. When Namco's game designer Tohru Iwatani went out for pizza, the rest, as the saying goes, is history. The basic idea is to lead PacMan through a maze, eating all the dots on the stage, while avoiding contact with the ghosts. Within the maze are four ghosts, which PacMan should stay away from. If a ghost happens to bump into PacMan, he'll lose one life. If you use all of your lives, it's game over. Namco has reported over $100,000,000 in revenues from PacMan. The fact that PacMan has been licensed to over 250 companies, provides consumers with an assortment of over 400 products ranging from breakfast cereals to toys, and even a car called the PacMan Hot Rod. The brand even expanded into comics and television. Oddly enough, there was a song recorded about the game entitled "PacMan Fever!" The main PacMan game character has become an icon in its own right. On its 20th anniversary (at the beginning of 2000), Namco resuscitated their first PacMan game series through the PacMan World that has the classic PacMan game just incorporated with the modern quest game play of video games. Namco Bandai is bound to release a new PacMan game edition in recognition of its 30th anniversary. There isn't much detail about it, yet you can anticipate nothing but fun and entertainment from the big, yellow, munching ball that is PacMan. | | Thursday, December 1st, 2011 | | 9:45 pm |
The Arcade Game of PacMan: The Record Bursting Online game that Transformed Into a National Addictio It's not commonly known that the Pacman arcade game is the last video game with words. The sport, created by Toru Itwani and licensed by Namco, is based on an old Japanese folk story. All you really had to do was make it through a maze by eating up a bunch of dots and staying away from the ghosts. The PacMan arcade game is still in high demand due to its cult following. Ultimately, Midway chose to produce it in the US. play pacmanIf you do not like standard arcade games, and are tired of playing your house invading games, the Pacman arcade game is the one for you to invest in. 'Astroids' was soon striped as the greatest game of all time for promoting. It will likely continue to sell to generations to come. The player maneuvers the central character around the maze by consuming pellets. Once all the dots are consumed, you will pass to the next stage. There are also four ghosts in the maze who are trying to stop PacMan. Should Pac-Man make contact with one of the ghosts, he will die. Once everyone in the game is dead, the game is over. Going to the maze's four corners, you find that there is an energy up in each one. Pac-Man can eat energy-ups which will allow him to gobble up the ghosts for a short time. As soon as the ghost is consumed, it returns to the pen where it most likely will be resuscitated. As the game advances to its various stage levels, the ghosts experience a shortened regeneration time. Initially it may appear that the ghosts are moving around randomly. While it may take some time to figure out where and how they move, you will soon be able to effortlessly track their paths. Skilled gamers will plot their patterns out, all but ensuring success. Don't let the simplicity of the Pacman arcade game fool you; playing can still give you quite a thrill! Many people, you will discover, will become addicted to the game. Its one of the greatest games ever and is also very satisfying to play. | | Wednesday, November 30th, 2011 | | 11:55 pm |
Pacman World - A Little Something I Really End Up Choosing Regularly Great game but you need a controller as the keyboard arrows that this uses is very hard to control. pac-man
is a great game for Playstation and Playstation 2 owners. You get 3 modes of play including the original Pac-man game, as well as a 3-D adventure mode, and a 3-D over the top Dot munching game. All 3 are very fun to play, which makes this game a very good value.Recommended for those looking for a cheap, fun game, for their PSone or PS2. kids games online This is one of the best games I have played in a while. I will admit that I am not into all of those massive role playing games, Like Syphon Filter and Metal Gear, but this is a throw back to the days of Super Mario Brothers and Sonic. And that's just the adventure part of the game. you also get the old classic arcade style pac-man, and an all new 3-d pac-man game played very much like the old arcade game, but with much better graphics(obviously). A fun game that everyone will enjoy! | | Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 | | 4:00 pm |
A powerful In-Depth Observation on the PacMan Video game Our lives are like a computer simulation. The ending is always the same, regardless of the progress you have made. That's the truth, yes? Perhaps. Billy Mitchell will disagree with you if you ask him. How come? His name claimed a place in contemporary human history in 1999. With an all-time high score of 3,333,360 points, he was named the man who completed the first perfect PacMan game. In six hours, with a single life, he conquered 256 mazes on PacMan. Although he could have continued, the game was essentially over since the game's creators never developed the 257th board. Though the popularity gained by Mister Mitchell was note-worthy news back then, a larger fact remains. pacman On the contrary, it is not his ability to play arcade games well. The fact is, PacMan has become the incon for the brand during its 20 years in existence. Who would have expected that such a simple game would become one of the most-famous, most-played arcade games of all times? Pacman game was originally developed for the arcades in Japan. Pacman was released in May, 1980 by Namco. A slice of pizza began the makings of the famous PacMan game. Tohru Iwatani, the game creator of Namco, went out to eat and the "rest is history". To play the PacMan game these are the basics: To eat all the dots along the maze, a player directs the PacMan in a certain maze, when that is done it moves on to the next level. PacMan should avoid contact with the four ghosts in the maze. A PacMan life is lost if a ghost catches him. Once your life count reaches zero, the game ends. Namco has reported over $100,000,000 in revenues from PacMan. More than 250 companies have licensed the PacMan brand and more than 400 products, from cereal and toys to even a car, PacMan Hot Rod, have been created. Media, such as television, joined the craze when airing ABC's cartoon The PacMan Show. There is even a rare music record called PacMan Fever! Similarly, anyone can tell that PacMan himself has become a star. | | 7:51 am |
Pacman Arcade, A Second Item That Anybody On The Earth Will Need To Have Play multiple Video Games with the Retro Arcade Pac Man TV Game. No Console is necessary. Just plug it in and play.
Ms. Pac-Man / Galaga Classic Cocktail Table Arcade Game with 19-Inch Monitor (Sports)This is it: The actual arcade machine that contains the original Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. Okay, so the machine was made in 2001, but it still held the true originals. Ms. Pac-Man is that really popular maze game in which you play as the miss in action. Run around eating all the dots, avoiding the ghosts, you know the drill! Since the stand-up version of this machine is pretty much everywhere I've been to, chances are that the machine lets you play as a Ms. Pac-Man that runs as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog! If not, then there should probably be a way how you can change that inside the machine itself. Galaga is like Space Invaders, but with several improvements. The enemies do stunts in space while moving down towards you, the "boss" aliens can steal your ship, there are bonus levels, and you can even steal your ship BACK, allowing you to shoot DOUBLE the amount of firepower! Overall, if you are an arcade owner, or just some person who wants an arcade machine in your room, this is for you. play pacman I boughted for my 4 year old but because I thought it was going to be easy for him som of the games were I think Im going to wait a few more years so he can enjoy it. kids games online This product is such a great toy for the cost!! It plays the 1980s games just like I remember them!! So much FUN that I don't want everyone to run out and buy one, because I would have difficulty finding one when this unit has too much use. It has 10 different games total including Galaga and maybe 3 or 4 different varities of Pac Man. Amazon has an option to buy items new or used;I chose to purchase a new item. After playing the game, there were other high scores with initials saved in the plug n play that leaves me to wonder if the purchase i made was in fact Used instead of New. kids games online this is nice and compact with alot of games....this looks better on tube type TVs...on the new LCD and Plasma the video quality seems poor....this is a really fun thing to bring along at partys | | Sunday, November 27th, 2011 | | 9:19 pm |
5 various things you almost certainly didn't know about Pac-Man Pac-man has found much popularity as an everyday game character, being over thirty years present in the landscape of popular culture. In addition to having appeared on pretty much every gaming platform ever released, he has also graced cereal boxes and been a Saturday morning cartoon star. There used to be other companies in the business besides Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. pacman Also included are every cell phone with a screen, portable systems that have long since died and plug-and-play TV devices. This little pellet-muncher has created an empire that was instrumental in allowing Namco-Bandai to survive an economic hit. Secrets are said to be contained even in well known icons. Iwatani hoped to do this better and create a game that could be played by men and women together and by families also. While playing, it seems as though the four ghosts are trying to chase you. True is not the only one in it. Inky, which is the blue ghost in the game Pacman, is trying to hide in a very secret place in a certain cube. You will find that the orange ghost's moves are completely random, his name is Clyde. To add to the challenge of the game, since the player always has Pac-Man moving, the ghosts are forever changing direction and trying to achieve their goal. Just what is Pac-Man actually? You may have heard that pacman's shape was based on a pizza with a missing slice. Did you know Pac-Man was a game that's main concept was food? That theme continues with the game's name. The Japanese say 'puck puck' like Americans use 'munch munch.' That means that the name was originally Puck-Man, actually meaning Munch-Man. Once the game came to the United States, an official with Midway Games changed it to Pac-Man so vandals would not destroy part of the P, thus creating an obscene word. The missing piece In order to attract a wider audience, Pac-Man was designed to be a very simple game. The technology in 1980 made this a bit easier. Even though Iwatani is happy with the game now, there was a time when he felt it needed something added. Although it's difficult to imagine Pac-Man without the brightly colored ghosts, the developer, Iwatani, says he was pressured to change that. Ordered to make the ghosts a single color by the president of Namco, to be red precisely, as she thought this would confuse the players, that some ghosts were PacMan's ally perhaps. He checked with the game testers to see if they would prefer different colors for the ghosts. There wasn't anybody who thought the one-color option was viable. That showed the president the error of his ways. | | Saturday, November 26th, 2011 | | 4:10 pm |
Breakdown of the absolutely free Online Pac-Man. PacMan elegantly combines simplicity and addictiveness for one memorable game experience. Even now, hardcore players worldwide spend untold hours competing for lofty scores. This game has appeared on nearly every game console over the years, to mixed reviews. Right now we should learn something about Paul Neave's flash version of the game. It is not worth for you to even read this review, if you have never played PacMan. This makes it obvious that you are not a true gamer. That would mean you're an alien, so how would you have even been able to negotiate the internet? Brief descriptions always help. In the video game Pac-Man, you play as the main characters, whose name happens to be Pac-Man. You may wonder what PacMan is. pacmanAfter more than 20 years, the consensus is that he is a type of supernatural cheese man addicted to yellow M&Ms, fearful of colors other than blue who is trapped, for whatever reasons, in a maze with rainbow-colored ghosts. The goal is to race through the maze eating the dots all the while avoiding the ghosts and focusing on eating big dots which turn the ghosts blue and make them edible. Each level will sporadically show a piece of fruit or candy that is worth bonus points when eaten. After all the dots are cleared off, you get a new board. The game is featured here from start to finish, and a player's skill level can determine how long a game can take. Most PacMan arcade game ports feature the same basic structure, but there are often slight differences from the original because of hardware limitations, programming issues or decisions by the developer. The dissimilarities are hard to pinpoint in this version versus earlier ones, but they are indeed there. This version had two flaws in my opinion. The first is the speed of PacMan's movements. Although the game still plays correctly, I was thrown off by the change in the tempo from the arcade game. The initial AI for the ghosts wasn't up to snuff, either. On more than one occasion I saw them simply bumping against walls for several moments instead of pursuing me. They got back to it fairly quickly when they figured out what they were supposed to do but this little glitch really bugged me. Although I've never been overly fond of PacMan, it is a fun game for awhile, especially since you can obtain this version for free. When I played PacMan again, I remembered how I would go to the beach and stand in the arcade for hours. It's not too easy finding an arcade these days. Game Verdict This port, in essence, isn't that dissimilar from the original version. This is about as close to the arcade version of the Pac-Man experience you are going to get, unless you would like to part with your hard earned quarters. It's nothing outstanding, but it fills a niche. | | 4:17 am |
You Simply Won't Be Sorry Purchasing This Device, Pacman Party This party game stars Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, and other Namco favorites from franchises such as Tekken, Ridge Racer, and Soul Calibur. Up to four players can partake in more than 30 minigames and three themed game boards. Try to recover all of the minigames stolen by those pesky, party-crashing ghosts and determine who the real party animal is.
My 5 year old & I LOVE this game! So fun!!! It's a bit long, but totally entertaining!! I just cannot figure out how to play the old fashioned pac man game on it. All I get is a "GAME OVER' message on my screen?!! Put I got it for a great price & we LOVE it! pac man online I bought this game because I loved PacMan and DigDug in high school. The only reason in all honesty I bought it was for the digdug game. While the graphics are the same as the classic arcade game, the dig dug character keeps getting locked up. The little lights on the controller will lock up and the character ends up getting killed because I wasn't able to move it. I have the same problem with the classic pacman game. I have no idea how the other games play, but if you want this for the classic arcade games, skip it. here I got this game for my 4-year old son. He has a Pacman mania going right now. Pacman Arcade Video game - The Record-Breaking Ultimate Game It is surprising to many folks that Pacman was the final word arcade game made. Whereas licensed by Namco and created by Toru Itwani, the sport is built on an old Japanese folks story. In PacMan you will maneuver through a maze, gobble dots and avoid ghosts. Pacman, as an arcade game, was so successful that it retains many devoted followers even today. One could say that it has a cult status among gamers. It was produced for the US by the Midway company. pacmanFor players who are not interested in the standard arcade games and also who are tired of the house invading games, the PacMan arcade game is recreational. It was not that long before it became the best promoting arcade-type game ever, even surpassing Asteroids which held this distinction for a long time. It's likely to achieve top billing for a long time to come. You direct Pacman around a maze and collect dots along the way. In order to advance to the next stage you must enable your picture to gobble up every spot without getting eaten itself. Operated by the player, Pac-Man, makes his way around the maze in an attempt to avoid four ghosts which make an attempt to capture and devour him. If Pac-Man is touched by the ghost he dies. For all those who pleaced pacman in the acrade, you can now play this game online. There are four energy ups scattered in each corner of the maze. Pac-man has the ability for a short period of time to actually eat the ghosts after absorbing an energy-up. No sooner being eaten the ghost will return to the pen where it may be revived. As the game advances in stages, the regeneration time for the ghosts gets shorter. Even though you may guess that the ghosts are moving in a nonsensical pattern, you will see that they are predictable, but it does take time and patience to discover the pattern. This gives players that have great skill to figure out how to move in ways to complete each level without ever being apprehended. Pacman's arcade game is simple to play, but you'll still be able to get a hit of adrenaline from being involved with it. You will find that the game turns into an addiction for lots of people. It's one of the most popular video games ever and is also one of the most fun arcade games one could indulge in. | | Thursday, November 24th, 2011 | | 5:55 am |
You Must Comprehend It - Pacman World I read the reviews of others here at Amazon.com in regards to this game before deciding to buy it. They were very helpful to me but I must admit to having a love for Pac-Man well before reading any one review. What makes this game so outstanding is the animation which is on par with the Pac-Man cartoon that I got a kick out of years ago. Some of you reading this review and others will wonder "yeh, but is it worth the price tag?" I can tell you without a doubt it is. There are many games priced far and above their actual quality but is every bit worth its price and then some. Besides the graphics, the gameplay is fantastic, challenging (without being too hard) and all out FUN. Pac-Man swims, gobbles, butt bounces (a must see)and the Sonic-like rev run can't be beat. The ghosts are all there with some new baddies...but beware, even seemingly innocent fish can prove deadly too.The music? In a word, spectacular! It took me back to the fun of the Pac-Man cartoons and the music that plays when you run the credits is hot enough to do aerobic exercise to... I kid you not!I just started playing the game this morning but out of all the games I've purchased: Frogger, Asteroids, Dead or Alive, MK4 and Need for Speed... I can definitively say is the most fun I have had out of them all. pac man online
My girlfriend, who is not a big video game player, was intrigued by the game after we rented it. She now wants to purchase it. She enjoys the different mazes and the "Quest" area. She thinks PacMan is cute.As for me, I enjoy the challenge of the game. The 3-D style format is exactly what PacMan needs to stay fresh in the gaming world of the "Nineties" and beyond. best online games My son (age 6) and I have played this game and had a great deal of fun with it. Took us a while to get to the final level (we just got our PS1 at Christmas), but this is a very good, clean, game for young children (and their parents--my husband and I both got caught up in helping "beat the levels"). I would recommend to anyone. | | Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011 | | 3:22 am |

We have a lot of video games from a classic 80's Atari through Wii, we have family with the latest X-Box 360 devices and what were we all playing this past New Year's eve but this inexpensive Retro Arcade Pac Man plug and play. This plays just like the 80's Arcade games we spent hours dropping quarters into in malls back in the day. Galaga, Galaxian, Pole Position, Pac-Man and many more. You could spend 20 times the amount of money on a high end game system and games and not have the fun that you will have with this simple, fun and sturdy unit. Buy it for a child or buy it to bring to a party of full grown baby boomers or Gen-Xers and you will be a winner. pacman Toy stopped working with minimal use after two months. The screen was cracked and fuzzy and ability to navigate to different games was non existant. Battery change did not fix the problem kids games online I'll start with the cons: My top fire button spring sticks..if I could only switch it with the perfect action of the bottom button...and, it may be this opperator, but Pac-Man seems to get stuck in the corner at times in instead of continuing on ahead, which may be something electronic within the joystick...each unit may have their own quirks; but STILL worth the small amount of money for the hours of retro enjoyment! Now the pros: It is direct arcade action! These games are as nastalgic as can be, and play almost exactly as they did 30yrs ago. Graphics and sounds are true to the originals, and resetting takes no time. I recommend this time capsule of memories, for any generation to enjoy. | | Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011 | | 7:03 pm |
You Should Purchase It-Pacman Party This party game stars Pac-Man, Ms.
I hoped this game would be similar to Mario Party or Wii party, but it wasn't. My kids didn't really get into it. I don't reccommend it. pac man online I bought this for a gift. The family loves it. great for all ages with help. I bought it for a 38 year old male and all of the kids love it. Ages from 3 to 13! A great family game classic. click This game was the most fun when I played it with my girlfriend. Otherwise, I'd stick to Halo, Splinter Cell, and the like. This is a great game to have in your library if you have a girlfriend who comes over and likes to fire up the GameCube. | | Thursday, November 10th, 2011 | | 9:19 pm |
For the absolutely free on-line PacMan video game and overview, click on the hyperlink listed below One of the simplest, yet most addictive, arcade games to come out of the 1980s is PacMan. Even now, dedicated gamers worldwide spend unimaginable hours trying to beat their highest scores. This game has appeared on nearly every game console over the years, to mixed reviews. This will focus on the flash version developed by Paul Neave. What in the world brings you hear if you aren't personally familiar with PacMan? Since we all know that you know nothing about gaming, whatsoever. I'm starting to wonder if you are a space alien who got online accidentally. Even so, it would seem that just describing it briefly could be a good idea. When playing the popular arcade game PacMan, you will control the PacMan character. Are you interested in learning all about PacMan? play pacman free online After more than 20 years, the consensus is that he is a type of supernatural cheese man addicted to yellow M&Ms, fearful of colors other than blue who is trapped, for whatever reasons, in a maze with rainbow-colored ghosts. As you maneuver around the labyrinth, you ingest tiny balls, avoid neon ghosts, and consume the large balls to turn said ghosts blue and eat them up. For extra bonus points, pieces of fruit or candy will show up periodically. A new board begins once the previous board is cleared of all dots. If the player is good enough, the game has the potential to go on for days. Whether due to the limitations of the hardware, programming, or the developer's decisions, most ports of the Pac-Man arcade game follow the same basic game-play features of the original, though there can be slight differences. While, in some versions, the differences are not as previlent, in others, they are not present at all. This version had two flaws in my opinion. First of all, there's the rapidity with which PacMan darts around. The biggest difference is the pace of play, which may throw you off at the beginning. The problem of the AI on the ghost was the second, as it did not work as it should have. Rather than coming after me, sometimes I notice them just bumping into walls for a few seconds. This glitch troubled me even though it was resolved pretty fast. Although I've never been overly fond of PacMan, it is a fun game for awhile, especially since you can obtain this version for free. As I played PacMan, it reignited fond memories of continually putting quarters in arcade games down by the beach. It's not too easy finding an arcade these days. This game retains many of the elements of the original. This is about as close to the arcade version of the Pac-Man experience you are going to get, unless you would like to part with your hard earned quarters. It is worth looking into, even though it's nothing spectacular. |
